1. Introduction
Welcome to Vaety. We curate intelligent spaces through personalized automation solutions that sense you, elevate your comfort, and simplify your daily life. Vaety operates in Lebanon and provides consultation, device installation, and automation services for homes and businesses.
2. Scope of Services
Vaety offers personalized consultations, recommends suitable smart devices, coordinates their installation, and designs tailored automation flows. We do not manufacture or produce the devices installed and are not responsible for device manufacturing defects.
The Vaety experience
It begins with an in-person consultation to understand the space and the client’s lifestyle needs. It includes:
Planning and evaluating automation possibilities.
Researching and recommending devices.
Issuing a detailed quotation.
Coordinating and supervising installation.
Purchasing devices on the client’s behalf.
Configuring and testing automations tailored to the space.
Each experience fee covers the installation and configuration of a limited number of solutions and devices. If the number of devices exceeds this limit, the additional devices will be included in the quotation as add-ons and may be subject to an extra charge.
3. Customer Obligations
Clients must ensure access to the installation site, provide necessary network or Wi-Fi connectivity, and disclose accurate information about the property’s layout and usage needs. Clients also agree to grant Vaety administrative access to the automation platforms and devices installed, for the purpose of adjustments, troubleshooting, or service updates, as part of the service provided. Clients acknowledge and agree that Vaety may take photographs or videos of the installation area for quality assessment, project documentation, and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and promotional materials. Vaety commits to using such images respectfully and without disclosing any personal client information or sensitive details unless express written permission is obtained.
4. Device Purchases and Warranties
Devices are purchased by Vaety on behalf of the client. Devices are covered by their respective supplier or manufacturer warranties. Vaety assists with the coordination of warranty claims but does not bear responsibility for supplier decisions or device performance.
5. Payment Terms
Clients must pay the full cost of the recommended devices either during the on-site consultation visit or no later than seven (7) business days prior to the scheduled installation date.
Thirty (30) percent of Vaety’s service and installation fees are payable upon quotation confirmation, with the remaining seventy (70) percent due upon completion of the installation on-site. A final invoice will be issued following the completion of installation and full payment. Complimentary Vaety+ coverage automatically begins from the date the final invoice is issued.
Accepted payment methods include cash, money transfer offices, and bank transfers. Details will be shared during the booking and invoice process.
Contracts, offers, and quotations provided by Vaety are valid for fourteen (14) calendar days from the issue date. The client must confirm acceptance within this period. Beyond this timeframe, the quotation is subject to reconfirmation by Vaety or may require reissuance due to changes in pricing or availability.
Any payment made beyond any specified deadline is subject to a five (5) percent late fee after seven (7) calendar days from the due date.
6. Project Timeline and Process
Vaety follows a structured process to ensure quality, transparency, and timely execution:
1. Client Contact & Booking
The client initiates contact and a site visit is scheduled. Visits may not occur earlier than the next calendar day and must be scheduled within thirty (30) calendar days of initial inquiry.
2. Site Visit & Initial Assessment
Vaety visits the site, evaluates needs, and provides a preliminary draft outlining anticipated solutions.
3. Client Alignment
The client and Vaety collaborate to refine and finalize the project vision.
4. Quotation Issuance
Vaety performs device sourcing and market research and provides a detailed quotation. Quotes are valid for fourteen (14) calendar days.
5. Quotation Confirmation & Payment
Client approves the device quotation by paying the full quoted amount and thirty (30) percent of Vaety’s experience fees. Modifications after this point are only accepted before installation begins and may require rescheduling based on payment status and availability.
6. Procurement & Installation Scheduling
Vaety procures devices and sets an installation date:
• Not earlier than five (5) business days from quotation payment
• Not later than ten (10) business days, unless otherwise agreed.
• If an item is sourced from abroad, delivery and installation may extend up to sixty (60) days based on availability and shipping logistics.
7. Device Readiness & Reconfirmation
Vaety confirms device readiness and reconfirms the scheduled installation.
8. Installation & Completion
Installation is completed and the final invoice is issued.
9. Final Payment
Client pays the remaining balance upon receiving the final invoice.
10. Vaety+ Activation
Complimentary thirty (30) days Vaety+ service begins from the date of the final invoice.
Delays and Non-Responsiveness
• If either party contacts the other and receives no reply via any method (email, phone, or message) within fourteen (14) calendar days, the project is subject to automatic termination.
• Termination also applies when there is no communication regarding any major step, such as site visits, quotations, payments, installation, or setup.
7. After Installation Service
Every installation includes a thirty (30) day complimentary Vaety+ coverage offering free fine-tuning and minor adjustments. Vaety+ begins from the date the final invoice is issued. After this period, service visits or automation updates may incur additional fees. Extended Vaety+ plans for continuous service and priority support are available and optional. Plan details and pricing are available upon request and subject to change.
8. Refund Policy
Refunds are limited strictly to sixty (60) percent of Vaety’s experience and/or service fees and are valid within thirty (30) days from the date the final invoice is issued. Refunds do not apply to experience fees that were discounted or provided as part of a promotional offer. Device returns, exchanges, or refunds are governed exclusively by their respective suppliers’ policies. Vaety assists in facilitating these processes but holds no responsibility for supplier decisions.
9. Limitations of Liability
Vaety is not liable for issues arising from device malfunctions, internet connectivity failures, electrical problems, or misuse by the client. Our service is designed to function optimally under standard operating conditions, and we are not responsible for external disruptions.
10. Cybersecurity, Website Use, and Device Protection Disclaimer
Vaety makes every effort to ensure that its website, content, and automation services are secure and updated. This includes advising clients on network security practices and installing devices using the latest available software versions at the time of installation.
Clients acknowledge and agree that:
• Vaety cannot guarantee that the website, its content, or any files obtained through it will be free of viruses, cyberattacks, or other harmful components.

Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate cybersecurity measures in their homes and networks, including but not limited to the use of secure Wi-Fi passwords, firewall settings, antivirus software, and device firmware updates where applicable. Regular maintenance and software updates of installed devices following supplier guidelines after the installation completion are the client’s responsibility.
Third-Party Platform Disclaimer
Vaety’s website and online services are hosted on third-party platforms, including but not limited to Shopify. 11. Privacy and Data Collection
Vaety collects basic information necessary for providing consultation, installation, and support services. Customer information is treated with respect and confidentiality. We do not sell or misuse customer data.
12. Service Modifications
Vaety reserves the right to modify, refuse, or terminate services based on project feasibility, availability of recommended devices, or site suitability. Any significant changes will be communicated in advance.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement with a written notice of fourteen (14) days. Termination also applies automatically if neither party responds within fourteen (14) calendar days to communications regarding essential stages of service such as consultation, quotation, payment, installation scheduling, or on-site setup. Upon termination, any devices purchased on behalf of the client must be fully paid by the client, regardless of project completion. Vaety will deliver all purchased devices to the client. Device returns, exchanges, or warranty claims are handled directly with the supplier. Vaety will provide the client with the necessary supplier contact information but is not responsible for supplier policies or decisions.
14. Force Majeure
Vaety shall not be held liable for any delay, failure, or disruption of service resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, wars, strikes, governmental actions, power outages, internet service interruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances (“Force Majeure Events”). In such cases, Vaety will communicate the impact to the client and provide a revised service timeline where possible.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of Lebanon.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with a booking, consultation, purchase, or installation with Vaety, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
